I must say that the ASUS 990FX R2.0 motherboard is one of the best high performance, gaming motherboards that it has ever been my pleasure to overclock. More on that another time however. I decided I should do a quick unboxing review of it for those of you considering buying one. Let me tell you, you will not be dissapointed. For a motherboard with a UEFI BIOS this is fast. Personally I'm using an ASUS M5A99X EVO and with the original BIOS update the POST was very slow, particularly when using RAID. With both boards I suggest you update the BIOS to the latest revision as there are some significant changes for both. I fitted the AMD 9350 CPU to the Sabertooth and while the board says you should update the BIOS it did at least run stable so I could do this. I don't recommend you do that though. If your version of the BIOS is unstable with the 9350 then your going to cause some serious problems. If in doubt check with ASUS.
You should be able to get most of the info yo uneed from the video but if you have any questions feel free to post them in the video comments or send us an email and we will answer where we can. I fit a lot of these in gaming PCs these days so I'm happy to help with any questions.
